I can see you - turn off that fog-light!
Over the last week, we've had a little bit of mist in the mornings, during the rush-hour drive to work.
Not really fog - not thick enough, you can still see cars a good distance ahead.
So why do so many people insist on using their fog-lights? It's like the've got a a hardly used Christmas present that they get to bring out twice a year at the first opportunity.
All it does is make driving more dangerous, as the fog-light is so bright it's distracting, and it often masks the brake lights when they come on.
If it's one of those rare occasions where fog-lights are actually needed - please switch them off when the fog has cleared. There's no need to drive around with them on for the next two weeks.
Then there's the other idiots, who drive with no lights on at all - like they're in stealth mode or something.
It's a shame common sense isn't part of the driving in the driving test. There'd be far fewer people on the road for a start…

To be fair though, if we had regular tests to make sure we were all road-worthy then I would have been failed years ago.

I think people should be tested every 5-10 years. Take some of the idiots off the road.
Like those who don’t know how to use roundabouts.

…and it’s not just the idiots on the road that are the real menance… it would appear that some Skyline owners leave the fog-lights on in their own driveway! Probably to ensure the postie won’t scratch the paintwork! Lol.

Just fitted it - for the MOT. Never use it, except to tell someone they’ve left their fog-light on and there’s no need to blind everyone with it.
Or to tell a tailgater to back off in slow moving traffic.

It is a shame that not many people on the roads know how to drive. Would’nt it be great if it was just a select few people on the roads who could actually drive, andwhilst we are on teh subject those people that leave their fog lights on should be fined…Ahhh bliss

- and isn’t it actually an offence to unnecessarily drive with them on?

If speed cameras can’t catch you, then they’re not interested…
